KFC Shakin’ Shakin’

KFC is famous for constantly introducing exciting innovations to their menu. So in 2016 they launched Shakin’ Shakin’, a snacks in a bag meal that comes with flavored sprinkles of your choice. All you have to do is chuck it in a bag, shake it together and the product becomes even better. Our challenge was to sell this snack to a mobile-obsessed audience.

So we created an interactive mobile ad that gets better the more you shake it, just like the product. Combining the cellphone’s accelerometer and a simple web browser we gave our audience full control of the content. Which means every time they physically shook their phone, the scene in the ad got more entertaining.
In the end their ultimate shake was rewarded with a mobile coupon to actually go and try out the product in-store.
